{"id":44,"date":"2010-01-28T22:15:53","date_gmt":"2010-01-29T06:15:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/?p=44"},"modified":"2010-01-28T22:17:21","modified_gmt":"2010-01-29T06:17:21","slug":"triple-chocolate-peanut-butter-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/?p=44","title":{"rendered":"Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, so in my world, peanuts are the forbidden fruit.\u00a0 Since so many of our students have peanut allergies, some severe, our school has banned peanuts.\u00a0 While this is good for students who would go into shock if they even thought about a peanut, it&#8217;s sad for me, because I really like them.\u00a0 Tom also loves peanuts, especially when they are combined with sugar in the form of Reese&#8217;s products.\u00a0 So, when we were at the store the other day, and Tom found the Reese&#8217;s peanut butter baking chips, he hopped up and down like a bunny on speed and grinned like a fool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-45\" href=\"http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/?attachment_id=45\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-45\" title=\"IMG_8571-2\" src=\"http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/IMG_8571-2-600x399.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"319\" srcset=\"http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/IMG_8571-2-600x399.jpg 600w, http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/IMG_8571-2-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/amyalphin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/IMG_8571-2.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last weekend, I made the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from Williams- Sonoma&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Williams-Sonoma-Essentials-Baking-Techniques-Succcessful\/dp\/0848732588\/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1264745324&amp;sr=8-2\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Essentials of Baking<\/span><\/a>, to date, the best &#8220;chocolate chip&#8221; cookie recipe that I&#8217;ve found.\u00a0 I added 1 cup of the Reese&#8217;s chips, and halved the other chips (white, dark and milk), so the ratios kinda worked out.\u00a0 The results?\u00a0 Well, as I only got to eat ONE, and the others &#8220;disappeared&#8221;
